The overtime loss to Vancouver was the typical Wild result.  Just enough to keep them in the running, but enough to convince that they won’t quite make it into the playoffs.

Columbus beat Nashville in regulation, which puts them in the playoffs most likely, now we need them to win against St. Louis and Nashville and rest up for the postseason against the Wild.  Anaheim also defeated Edmonton in regulation, so the Wild caught up with the Oilers.  Now they only need to win some games to catch up to Nashville and Anaheim.

For those who wonder what this team would have been like with a healthy Gaborik all season.  In six games since he returned he’s got 8 points (5 goals, 3 assists) while the Wild have scored 16 goals.  That’s 50% of the offensive output.

Wild cheering guide for tonight – Chicago Blackhawks to beat St. Louis in regulation.
